Two hour mini beginner workshops:
$50.00 including all supplies: you'll be learning techniques such as blending, texture and collage with time to create and take your paintings home!

Sessions times are available most Friday and Saturdays, noon to 2:00 and 2:00 to 4:00.

Some Sundays noon to 2:00. Please email to schedule in.

Once you've done a beginner workshop you may like to take our Assisted Workdays!

Ways you might enjoy assisted workdays:

1 - Learn processes and tools you've been wanting to try out such as texture, transfers and using wood burning tools and sealing irons. It's your chance to ask all kinds of questions about process and materials.

2 - Bring in pieces you have been working on and need help with so we can suggest areas to develop and go step by step through processes to bring the piece to fruition.

3 - Bring an idea or look through our books for ideas and inspiration and we will assist you by recommending and working through techniques to create your vision.

Most Fridays and Saturdays 11:00 to 2:00, noon to 3:00 and 1:00 to 4:00

Assisted Workday Supplies:
All supplies are included but you might like to bring images on a flash drive to print out here, special papers, leaves, zerox and inkjet prints, drawings, unglazed ceramic pieces, stencils, stamps, and threads etc. We supply plywood boards and have cradled boards for sale.

One on One monotype sessions with the HOTbox

Monotypes allow you to work in a very spontaneous manner and are very exciting to create on a variety of papers and surfaces including our fabulous "Hot Box" which has a 22x32 inch surface!

All supplies are included but you are encouraged to bring handmade and rice papers which work great! Incorporating some collage techniques, pigment sticks, oil pastels and charcoal drawing also works well with monotypes!

If you have never done encaustic monotypes with us before or have but need to schedule in with instruction:
$40.00 for 3 hours (bring your own paper: $30.00 for 3 hours)

If you have done an encaustic monotypes with us and would like to work without instruction
$30.00 for 3 hours (bring your own paper: $20.00 for 3 hours)

Ongoing Classes Fridays 11:00 - 2:00
Includes all materials but you can bring anything you'd like to experiment with.
Techniques will be shown in the form of short demos during the class and ongoing help as needed.

We will both be teaching these classes on alternating weeks so you'll be learning from both of us; Deanna and Bonny! Please sign up by calling or emailing. Payments not due till you start your classes.
