ALL NEW - VERY BIG 3-D Mixed Media Workshop

Friday, July 31st, Saturday August 1st, Sunday August 2nd and Monday, August 3rd - 2020

10am to 5pm each day

The cost of the workshop is $1500 and includes tons of very expensive supplies - and you'll be able to make some significant work 3 to 5 participants, only.

See some images from prior workshops here.

Because of the huge amount of materials and space required and my interest in a total immersion with you - flushing out individualized techniques with materials and concepts - I'll only be accepting 3 to 5 participants into the workshop.

This workshop is all about materials and ways to combine them into 3-D objects. We'll be working with Tyvek, Fosshape, Wonderflex, Dura-Lar, wire, ink, plaster, acrylic, wood, metal, Vinyl, foam, rawhide more! I'll be showing you ways to hang the work from the ceiling, attach to a wall and how to build a free standing objects. This workshop includes a talk and slide show of artists working today with various materials and installations in exciting ways. We will look at the "why" and various concepts behind the work where applicable

I will meet with each of you via zoom before the workshop to flush out ideas and prepare

Due to the Pandemic we will be wearing masks and distancing.

Importantly; We will be heating and manipulating materials that will require us to wear respirator masks and gloves sometimes. We'll be working outside sometimes. Some of these materials give off fumes and toxins when heated, which we will be very careful to protect ourselves from. Each participant will be required to bring a mask of this type:
