ALL NEW - VERY BIG 3-D Mixed Media Workshop
Friday, July 31st, Saturday August 1st, Sunday August 2nd and Monday, August 3rd - 2020
10am to 5pm each day
The cost of the workshop is $1500 and includes tons of very expensive supplies - and you'll be able to make some significant work 3 to 5 participants, only.

Because of the huge amount of materials and space required and my interest in a total immersion with you - flushing out individualized techniques with materials and concepts - I'll only be accepting 3 to 5 participants into the workshop.
This workshop is all about materials and ways to combine them into 3-D objects. We'll be working with Tyvek, Fosshape, Wonderflex, Dura-Lar, wire, ink, plaster, acrylic, wood, metal, Vinyl, foam, rawhide more! I'll be showing you ways to hang the work from the ceiling, attach to a wall and how to build a free standing objects. This workshop includes a talk and slide show of artists working today with various materials and installations in exciting ways. We will look at the "why" and various concepts behind the work where applicable
I will meet with each of you via zoom before the workshop to flush out ideas and prepare
Due to the Pandemic we will be wearing masks and distancing.
Importantly; We will be heating and manipulating materials that will require us to wear respirator masks and gloves sometimes. We'll be working outside sometimes. Some of these materials give off fumes and toxins when heated, which we will be very careful to protect ourselves from. Each participant will be required to bring a mask of this type:

About Bonny:
Leibowitz’s work explores the inner workings of consciousness, the transitory nature of thought and the qualities and origin of their deeper essence. She utilizes a variety of materials including Tyvek, Plaster, Vinyl, plastics, foam, wax, pigments, ink, found objects and more.
Her solo exhibitions include The Neon Heater in Findlay, OH., No.4 Studio in Brooklyn, NY, Liliana Bloch Gallery in Dallas, TX, Art Cube Gallery in Laguna Beach, CA, The Museum of Art, Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX, Cohn Drennan Contemporary in Dallas, TX.
Her work has been included in numerous group exhibitions including those Matera, Italy, Akko, Israel, Brooklyn, New York, Baltimore, Maryland, Dallas, Texas and Art Basel Satellite Art Fair, Miami, Florida.
Leibowitz has participated in residencies with Judy Pfaff and Michael David culminating in group exhibitions in Brooklyn, NY at M. David & Co.
Reviews and interviews of her work have been featured in Art Spiel, The Houston Review, Vassari21, Maake Magazine, Pleat, Studio Critical, Curating Contemporary, Mixed Media Tapes, Luxe Magazine, Modern Dallas, Art F City, Dallas Morning News, Art Funk and Papercity.
Originally from Philadelphia, Leibowitz lives in Dallas TX where she maintains her studio practice.
