Collage & Composition - A Mixed Media Workshop with Bonny!

Workshop description:

This dynamic, process oriented workshop will focus on a variety of techniques and materials which can layer with one another and allow for a broader, more confident way of approaching mixed media. I'll be addressing approaches to composition, color, mark making and spontaneity. Participants will come away with a working knowledge of materials, products, and their use and a sense of how exploration, experimentation and creating in the NOW can enhance your current practice and become the inspiration for new ideas.

Some materials and techniques we will be utilizing:

Texture – various acrylic gel mediums and molding pastes on canvas,

Acrylic medium, Gel medium regular, Light molding paste.

Acrylic Paint - palette knife effects, layering, dripping, splashing, thin washes and additive and subtractive approaches - any brand

Brusho

Monotypes – Speedball inks, acrylic and watercolor on paper and canvas - un-stretched.

Collage onto canvas - stretched and un-stretched – monotypes, various tissue and handmade papers.

Ink and acrylic – spontaneous mark making techniques

Yupo Paper – inks, watercolor

Mulberry Paper

It will be a fantastic experience creating and getting to know one another ...even better!

Balance due: August 4th: $450.00 for in person and $350 for Zoomers.

Cancellation policy: 

In the event of cancellation, after the workshop is paid in full, $440.00 for in-person and $340.00 for Zoomers will be refunded if someone from the waiting list is able to attend.
