3D Objects: Wire, Plaster and Encaustic! with Bonny Leibowitz

11am to 2:30pm each day
This workshop is especially designed in two separate sessions with time in between to work on your pieces at home and allow for plaster to cure.
The cost of this workshop is $385.
This 3-D object workshop is all about materials, form, surface quality and color. We'll be building various forms with wire, plaster and encaustic. I will be helping participants find unusual, intriguing shapes personal to their natural impulses, all the while pushing for new ways of looking and making.
Day one, we will be building forms out of wire and getting them covered with plaster cloth. You can then continue and complete this process at home allowing plaster to cure / harden.
Day two, you will bring back your forms to apply the encaustic in various ways.
No experience necessary. All supplies included
Provided supply list:
ACTIVA Rigid Wrap Plaster Cloth, 5 pounds
Needle nose pliers - please bring or I have a few to share on hand
Other provided equipment and supplies:
Encaustic medium, paint and brushes, heat guns, skillets, tins and paper towels

In the event of cancellation after the workshop is paid in full, $285 will be refunded if someone from the waiting list is able to attend. No refunds on or after May 2nd.
